Lecturer
The 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐀𝐄𝐂) organized an event to raise awareness about water conservation. Teams from different countries participated in the event and designed posters about water conservation. The posters were judged by a panel of experts, and the top three teams were awarded prizes. The team from the Civil Engineering Department at The University of Faisalabad, led by 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐘𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐫 𝐈𝐟𝐭𝐢𝐤𝐡𝐚𝐫, won third place for their poster entitled "Water Conservation: A Shared Responsibility." The poster highlighted the importance of water conservation and presented some simple steps that individuals and communities can take to save water.
Research Associate
𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲𝐚𝐦 𝐉𝐚𝐛𝐛𝐚𝐫 is a dedicated Research Associate in Optometry, currently in her 3rd semester of the 2021-MPhil-0P-050 program. She won a 𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐥 for her oral presentation (on the topic of comparative analysis of quality of life questionnaire in low vision patients) at the 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐 (𝐑𝐀𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐍 𝟐𝟐) held at Superior University in Lahore. With a strong academic background and a passion for optometry, Maryam actively contributes to research projects and stays updated with the latest advancements in the field. She is a valuable team player, adept at communicating complex concepts effectively. Maryam's achievements and dedication position her as a promising researcher in the optometry field.
Students
Alpha TUF Community Welfare Society voluntarily started a campaign when Flood was declared a natural disaster in July 2023. Students and staff of TUF enthusiastically participated in this campaign and distributed more than 2000 ration bags in Balochistan. TUFIANS was the first among all the educational institutes of Pakistan, who physically visit Balochistan during the flood. Based upon these efforts of Team Leader of Alpha TUF received Prime Minister Flood Hero Award.
